5H - Maurizio, IK2GZU will be active again as 5H3MB from Tanzania from 8
November to 8 December, while doing volunteer work at the Ikelu
Hospital and Ilembula Orphanage. In his spare time he will operate
SSB, CW and digital modes on 80-10 metres. QSL via Club Log's OQRS,

6W - Elvira, IV3FSG will be active again as 6W/IV3FSG from Senegal from
26 September to 16 October. Usually she operates SSB and digital

9Y - Celebrating Trinidad and Tobagos' 47th Republic Day, special call-
sign 9Y47RD will be active on 22-25 September. QSL via LoTW.
DL - Look for DJ1JB/p, DJ4EL/p and DJ5TM/p to be active from IOTA group
EU-042 from 28 September to 4 October. Their main QTH will be
Pellworm Island, with side trips to nearby Grode, Suderoog and
Norderoogsand.
HV - Fabio, I4UFH will be active from HV0A, Vatican City on 23 Septem-
ber. QSL via LoTW, or direct to IK0FVC.
SM - Gaby, DF9TM and Frank, DL2SWW have been active as SD7M and SD7W,
respectively, from Sturko Island (EU-138) since 18 September, and
will remain there until 23 or 24 September. Their IOTA tour in-
cluded activities from Orust Island (EU-043, 30 August-5 September)
as SD7M/6 and SD7W/6, and Oland Island (EU-037, 7-17 September) as
SD7M and SD7W. All QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log and confirmed
automatically via the bureau.
SV9 - Seppo, OH1VR will be active again as SV9/OH1VR from Crete (EU-015)
from 28 September to 3 October. He will operate mainly CW on 160-6

T7 - Celebrating "Sammarinesi nel mondo" (San Marino nationals around
the world), members of the ARRSM Radio Club will operate special
event station T71SNM on 24 September. QSL direct to T70A.
V3 - Dave, KM4DYR will be active as V31DN from Ambergris Cay (NA-073)
and other islands on 1-9 October. His primary goal is to activate
POTAs (Parks on The Air) on 40, 20 and 10 metres SSB. QSL direct to

VK - "Amateur Radio", the official journal of the Wireless Institute of
Australia, will reach 90 years of continuous publication in Octo-
ber. To mark this milestone, the WIA has obtained the special event
call sign VK90AR for use until 31 December by any member of the WIA
as well as any affiliated club. QSL via LoTW and M0OXO's OQRS.
W - If you need Wyoming for your WAS Award, note that the Shy-Wy Ama-
teur Radio Club will be hosting the "Come and Get Wyoming" W7Y spe-
cial event for the fourth year in a row from 22 September to 2 Oc-
tober. Operators from across Wyoming will volunteer for one hour
time slots to operate W7Y on a band and mode of their choice. QSL

ZF - Mark, W5LAC will be "attempting portable QRP operation" as ZF2MS
from Grand Cayman Island (NA-016) on 22-29 September. Look for him

ZL - Active from 1 October to 31 May 2024, ZL6WG is a special event
callsign promoting the 98th NZART annual conference that will be
held in Christchurch on 1-2 June next year. QSL via LoTW; paper

KH2/DL2AH ---> Ulrich, DL2AH has had to cancel his activity from Guam (16-30
September). He had "booked and paid from Germany via Airbnb a wonderful ac-
commodation with a huge garden (space enough for five Triple Leg antennas)",
he says, only to find out that "the offer was a fake! By lucky circumstances
I found a new (affordable!) Airbnb - unfortunately without space for my an-
tenna". His next stop will be Majuro, Marshall Islands as V73AH (4-16
October).
T22T ---> Team T22T has been active with four stations from Tuvalu since 3
UTC on 21 September, and according to Club Log has logged some 7500 FT8 QSOs
so far. They have huge noise problems on the low bands. QSL via Club Log's

UK/EI DX SSB CONTEST ---> In partnership with the RSGB, the IRTS and the
GMDX Group, the 2023 UK/EI DX SSB Contest will take place from 12 UTC on
30 September to 12 UTC on 1 October. The aim of this contest is to promote
contacts between stations in the United Kingdom & Ireland and stations in

complete details. Next year's events will be held on 27-28 April (CW) and 31
August-1 September (SSB).
V62P & V62S ---> Cezar, VE3LYC will be active as V62P from Pulap Atoll (OC-
155), and as V62S from Satawal Atoll (OC-299) between 25 October and 10 No-
vember [425DXN 1687]. "I just finished a very informative, almost two-hour
Zoom meeting with the boat captain and my contacts down in FSM", he reported
on 21 September. "We reviewed every step of the logistical plan, and the
captain confirmed the transportation schedule I already announced, as well
as a number of other logistical details. Meanwhile, he indicated that rela-
tively small delays may occur, due to weather conditions and/or other un-
foreseen reasons that may arise. However, this is not going to shorten my
stay on each atoll. If anything, my stays will be longer than originally
planned".
Cezar is "extremely grateful for the support received so far from several
organizations and enthusiastic individuals. It was my decision and nobody
else's to embark on this rather complex and expensive endeavour, and I am
prepared to bear its cost". However, he wishes to encourage more IOTA
chasers and DXers to support this project and assist him in offsetting some

W8S: THE PILOTS TEAM ---> The 4-17 October DXpedition to Swains Island will
be assisted by a team of Pilot stations whose job is to report on how things
are going from their location and act as liaisons between the DXpedition and
